Vacancies - Associate Pastor

  1. In the event that an Associate Pastor resigns, the Associate Pastor shall give sixty days notice to the Pastor. Exception to the length of notice may be made between the Pastor and the Associate Pastor.
  2. The Pastor will notify the Leadership Council in a subsequent meeting.
  3. The Church will be notified at a time and in a manner agreed upon by the Leadership Council.
  4. The Pastor will involve the Leadership Council in establishing the need to fill the vacancy. The Pastor will also involve the Leadership Council in establishing a job description should the vacancy need to be filled.
  5. The Pastor shall include members of the Leadership Council in interviews and/or evaluation of candidates.
  6. The Pastor will select a candidate and present the candidate to the Pastor of Cedar Park Assembly of God for approval and hiring.
