Leadership Council Meetings

  1. The Leadership Council will comprise the Deacons, the Pastor, and the Associate Pastor(s).
  2. The chair will call and preside over meetings.
  3. Regular meetings will occur monthly.
  4. Special meetings may be called by the Council chair, the Pastor, or a majority of the Deacons.
  5. All meetings will be announced, in advance, in writing or verbal announcement, in the context of a regular Sunday morning worship service.
  6. Meetings are open to all regular attendees of the Church. Any member of the Church may address the Council and participate in discussion (in accordance with proper order).
  7. Only members of the Leadership Council may vote.
  8. The Council may elect to go into executive session, thus excusing all but members of the Leadership Council. The Council may also excuse the Pastor and/or the Associate Pastor(s) in order to consider business in executive session.
