Terms of Office
A regular term of office is three years. Once elected, a deacon may
serve two consecutive terms, either full or partial. Having served two
consecutive terms, a deacon shall be ineligible for reelection for a
period of at least one year. An exception to these restrictions may be
waived only by a two-third majority vote of the members present at a
called meeting of the congregation.
