Outreach
In a recent white
paper casting Cedar Park's vision, Pastor Fuiten states:
Our goal should be to make
it easy for people to take the next step to becoming connected to
one of our churches believing that at some point they will have an
opportunity, when they are ready, to accept Christ as their own Savior. Each ministry should promote the other
ministries. In this way, the outreach ministries should link people to Cedar
Park and provide possibilities for growth.
The
Chapel at Cedar Park is orchestrated so that people will find it
easy "to take the next step."
The
neoclassic service is designed to resonate with people
looking for a deeper, sacred, historically rich service. It
will be the kind of service that people will feel comfortable, even
excited, when inviting their friends.
One target for outreach
is the group of thousands of people who access
various Cedar Park ministries but do not attend services regularly.
We'll likely start with a combination of direct-mail, phone calls and
visits.
