Our passion

The passion that fuels ministries to women of Cedar Park Church is to glorify God and advance His kingdom through women who know and experience the transforming power, presence and plan of Jesus Christ.

The Process

Cedar Park ministry for women exists to help women

•Know God personally

•Respond to His leading

•Become mobilized to ministry

The Process

  1. To know includes perceiving, learning, understanding, willing and experiencing. It is both knowledge and experience. “To know” is used in
the Bible to define relationship between God and the believer, (Psalm 139, Philippians 3:8-11) and man and wife in relationship to Christ and the church. (Ephesians 5:21-33) Although this is a mystery, we can begin to understand it as we experience an intimate, personal, knowledgeable relationship with Him.

  2. To respond is to reply, to act in return, and to answer. It is a picture of not just hearing and understanding, but an active whole-hearted response to an invitation.

  3. To become is to grow or come to be. There is change from one state to another. To become creates movement that increases over time. We are to become faithful followers of Jesus Christ.

The Philosophy

The philosophy of women’s ministries is based on the fact that God loves us.
(1 John 4:7-21; 1 Corinthians 15:1-5) We glorify God when we know and experience the love of God, when we love one another, and when we become who God created us to be. Thus we fulfill the great commandments: "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind." This is the great commandment. "And the second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself." (Mathew 22:35-40; Luke 10:27)

The Progress

When the prophecy in Isaiah 61 is fulfilled in women today,
they progress in freedom to be:

  1. Loved by God, and able to love Him and others with abandonment

  2. Full of compassion, mercy and grace,

  3. Inviting and inclusive

  4. Comforted and comforting

  5. Called, gifted and alive spiritually

  6. Full of worship and praise

  7. Open and vulnerable to God’s leading and to others

  8. Involved in ministry and outreach as led by the Spirit

  9. Risk takers: free to try and fail

  10. Courageous; able to face difficulties with confidence

  11. Servants: ready to serve and sacrifice for His glory

How exciting to be on this journey with God!

His plans for you are good!!

Our Passion

Now glory be to God! By His mighty power within us, he is able to accomplish infinitely more that we could ever ask or hope.

-Ephesians 3:20
