The Avenue Student Ministries

At The Avenue, we believe there is one way to Heaven, and that way is through knowing Jesus personally, and trusting him daily.

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. John 14:6

Our 3-fold goal is to Attract Students to Jesus, Connect them to other believers, and Equip them to serve God and others.

The process- We are intentional about creating an atmosphere where new students are given an opportunity to connect with our students in a setting that doesn’t have a traditional “church” feel. Through one of our activities or “invite nights” we’ll get an opportunity to connect and build an initial relationship with students. From there we encourage students to get involved with: 1-home groups, 2- special events, 3- youth service, 4- Sunday school and Sunday A.M. service. We believe when students are able to connect with a community of students who are passionate about loving and serving God, great things will happen.
Students- Wednesdays @ 7pm will be our midweek service which is filled with upbeat worship music, humorous skits, and relevant messages. Our goal is to involve the students in actually “doing” ministry rather than just “watching” ministry be done.
Class- Sundays at 9am is when our Sunday’s @ the Ave. class meets. This class is built around small group discussion and discipleship. The first Sunday of every month we will gather in the high school commons area for breakfast, a special speaker, and great round table discussion.
