The Importance of the Tween Years

 
By age twelve, we see that Jesus was a young man who understood His purpose in life. He was a young man of vision, respect, obedience and responsibility. Tweens in today’s world can walk as Jesus did as a tween. Thus, the purpose of Route 56... to help tweens become increasingly more and more like Jesus.
 

Another key component of Route 56 is that of helping tweens learn to better defend their faith. We want our 10-12 year olds to understand the times in which they live and be able to defend against the onslaught of the age... secular humanism. We believe that a Biblical foundation is key to surviving the attack on faith that will, no doubt, assail them in the years ahead.

 

Our 2012/2013 year will kick off with a Bible-based study of success principles that will help tweens be the “thumbs up” people God and their parents already see them as! Please join us! Contact Rich at route56@cedarpark.org for more information.
