What is Hiz Kidz?

Hiz Kidz is the children's choir of Cedar Park Church for children grades 1 - 6. The main purpose of our choir is to: teach, encourage, and model to the children how to develop a lifestyle of worshipping God, so they will have a solid, Godly foundation built in their hearts, to help them as they journey through life. Like Daniel, David, Elijah, Peter, and the many great heroes of God's Word, they would become bold and mighty worshippers of God; worshipping Him in Spirit and in Truth, in every area of their life.

Through singing, prayer, discovering and practicing elements of praise & worship; studying Biblical examples, Hebrew, Sign Language, and Historical Church Testimony; participating in character building, Special Electives, giving projects, and also the study of music theory and history - our goal is that they would cultivate a deeper relationship with God; gaining a greater understanding of who God is and the great purposes and plans He has for their lives. And that they would develop a love for each other in the body of Christ, living out Christ's love and character to each other and to our "neighbors".

In addition to growing, worshipping, and fun during weekly rehearsals, Hiz Kidz performs during worship services at Christmas time, Life Sunday, and Mother's Day; culminating with the annual "Praise Project" in June.
Hiz Kidz meets on Sunday evenings September through June: 6:00pm in the gym.

What is Hiz Little Kidz?

Hiz Little Kidz is the children's choir of Cedar Park Church for children ages 3 through Kindergarten. The goal of the choir is the same as the Hiz Kidz choir (see above), but taught in the atmosphere with the preschooler in mind.

Though singing, prayer, discovering and practicing elements of praise & worship; studying Biblical examples, Musical Composers, instrument families, and musical theory; learning Godly character traits, participating in giving projects, and interacting with musical guests and the incredible HLK Character Family - our goal is that these young worshippers grow deeper with God, with each other, and begin to build a firm foundation of faith and understanding of God's amazing Truth and plan for their lives.

In addition to weekly rehearsals, Hiz Little Kidz performs during worship services at Christmas time, Life Sunday, and Mother's Day; culminating with the annual "Praise Project" in June.

Hiz Little Kidz meets on Sunday evenings September through June... 6:20pm - 7:45pm in various classrooms on the church campus. HLK Registration/Check-in is in the back of the sanctuary at 6pm.
